The Black & Blue Festival has grown from a small party into one of the biggest gay festival in the world. The festival is usually held in October (this year it is from Oct 8-14, 2008). The week-long event celebrates the gay culture and features a Leather Ball, a Military Ball, a Recovery Party and tea dances. The proceeds are used for social causes. The main event is held at the Montreal Olympic Stadium. Over 80,000 people visit the festival.
